Ruzana Samdani

Surrounded by four walls
Unfriendly, deathly quiet
Guarding all in the tomb within
Cries muffled silent
Words have lost all letters and tone
Words defused, devoid of life and noise
A skeleton of paper rhyme
Of the corpse that has no voice
